Many people believe love is a sensation that magically generated between a man and a woman , Love is composed of a single soul inhabiting two bodies. IT is the expansion of two natures in such fashion that each include the other, each is enriched by the other.
GOD says:
"And among His signs is this, that He created for you mates from among yourselves, that you may dwell in peace and tranquility with them, and He has put love and mercy between your (hearts): Verily in that are signs for those who reflect" (Quran 30:21).
Prophet Mohammad (peace and blessings be upon him) has stated that:
"men and women are twin halves of each other" (Bukhari).
By using the analogy of twin half the Prophet has underlined the reciprocal nature and the interdependent nature of men and women's relationship.
How can you deepen your love for someone?
The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: “There is nothing better for two who love each other than marriage.” (Sahih Al-Jami`, 5200)
love is the greatest reality upon which the entire creation rests. And love in Islam is at once spiritual and heavenly, carnal and mundane. Islam enjoins believers not to curb sensuous pleasures, but to restrict them to the confines of conjugal love.
Marriage by definition is a voluntary union of two people.
Marriage is not a ritual or an end. It is a long, intricate bond , intimate life and nothing matters more than your own sense of balance and your choice of good partner.
Islam teaches us to be truthful and realistic, it teaches us that marriage is the finest, purest and permissible relationship that should exist between a male and female; it should be the goal that they both have in mind.
There is no concept of courtship in Islam as it is practiced in the West. There is no dating or living in de facto relationship or trying each other out before committing to each other. There is to be no physical relationship whatsoever before marriage. These notions that occupy the mind of young people often have proven in most cases to be unrealistic and harmful to those involved. We only have to look at the alarming divorce rate in the West to understand this point.
The basic difference is that love between man and woman in the Islamic context can only be realized and expressed in a legal marriage. In order to develop a healthy avenue for the expression of love between man and woman and to provide security so that such a loving relationship can flourish.
